Pan 40 Tablet contains pantoprazole 40 mg as its active ingredient. It belongs to the class of proton-pump inhibitors (PPIs) and works by reducing stomach acid production. It is used in the treatment of acid-related conditions such as gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, peptic ulcers and for protection against acid-related damage when taking certain painkillers.

Key Uses: Treatment of GERD/reflux; healing of erosive oesophagitis; prevention of ulcers from long-term NSAID use.

Important Information / Warnings:

• Take at least one hour before a meal, swallow whole (do not chew or crush).
• Long-term use may lead to magnesium deficiency, increased risk of bone fractures, vitamin B12 deficiency.
• Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on other acid-suppressing medications or anticoagulants.
• How to Use: One tablet daily (or as prescribed) on an empty stomach. Do not discontinue abruptly without consultation.
